UR●DIR explores the idea of waiting and its potency across different artistic languages: from music to visual arts, from the body to raw material, from words to the suggestion of light drawing. Matter serves as the starting point for creation, and with the realization of the book, the same idea and form are transposed to enhance the act of contemplating the place of waiting: from the hypothesis of a more philosophical-existentialist discourse to the romantic, from the naturalistic to the post-dramatic.
Dylan Silva simultaneously exhibits his works in watercolor and ecoline, expanding the research and pursuit of artistic manifestations of the idea of waiting, perpetuating it in time and space, and imparting an idea of the Eternal Return of waiting through the impression it stamps on the world.
