This series encapsulates the concept of friendships that challenge societal norms, transcend age limitations, and persevere through past hardships. With these watercolors, my intention was to contemplate the endurance of companionship beyond conventional parameters. Additionally, to evoke the nuanced interplay between emotional proximity and detachment inherent to such bonds. The visual language and compositional choices, which juxtapose notions of togetherness and solitude, collectively convey the many facets characterizing complex relationships in the modern age.
