Dylan Silva
Born in Switzerland in 1993, now living in Porto, Portugal. Dylan studied Multimedia at the School of Fine Arts of the University of Porto. Co-founder of “Senhora Presidenta”, a gallery dedicated to painting, illustration, ceramics, photography, publication, books, etc.
Drawing inspiration from the human body, these pieces are predominantly born from the realm of cherished memories. At times, they derive their essence from familiar faces, while at others, they are evoked by anonymous people. The underlying idea that propels this endeavor is one of deftly employing minimal elements, crafting a narrative that is unpretentious and forthright.
Like blurry memories of the past, these images reveal themselves as fragments carefully etched on different materials, transforming into remnants of something no longer clear.
